Bidrage med feedbackThe food here is very good and the service too. We are here with our baby girl and she was well received. Make sure you buy the hot sauce they sell because it's excellent, especially for Buenos Aires!
The food is fair at best, guacamole is tasty, enchiladas are soft and soggy with little cheese. For US$18 thats way expensive for what you get. The pricing here is equivalent to the best restaurants like Rosa Negra, its not close in any way.Whats sucks here is the ripoff prices. They charge 40P cubertos to eat with paper napkins on cheap tables. Cubertios is a service charge for upscale tablecloth, napkins and silverware. This is a ripoff. Not recommended due to exorbitant pricing.
Being of Mexican decent living in Argentina I have tried other Mexicans restaurants that failed. This is by far the closest to authentic and my favorite. A must if you are in Zona Norte.
This resto and his owner has been around for many years. They know what Mexican food is all about. The resto is in a closed street in La Lucila a very nice residential suburb of the famous North Zone in Buenos Aires.... about 1 hr from downtown. Its next to the La Lucila train station. If you are keen for a small trip catch the train from Retiro get off in La Lucila and you are there. The area is nice to visit during the day as there is more to see and do.At night it is probably a bit too far for Mexican...unless you are local in the area. The food is great and they have all the Mexican Classics. In summer is great they have a Terrace upstairs to see the stars while eating...(weather permiting)Great place a bit far for the Downtown Tourist..
Very tasty Mexican food. Small and inexpensive with limited menu but good. It is definately worth a visit. Only drawback was it does not open until 8pm.....
