Caffe Stella - MARTANO

Lovely smart yet traditional cafe/bakery in Martano. Well worth a visit in the evening. Very friendly staff

The Caffé Stella, with the possibility of tasting its proposals in one of the tables outside, is one of the most popular and well-known bars pastry shops in the city. It's worth a stop, for an aperitif, an ice cream, or a frozen pie or a cake tray to offer.

Late on Saturday evening , after a good meal in LÓsteria restaurant. Even at that hour , the Piazza Caduti is full with families , kids and young couple walking about , playing ball . And we are in the midlle of all this , enjoying our coffee and icecream . Perfect !

Discreet ice coffee, good pastry on the lane lane, the glass of water was not brought along with the coffee and the prices are slightly higher than the average.

We stayed locally for a week with a large family group and visited this cafe for coffees and other treats nearly every day. The gelato is lovely. We also bought an ice cream cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday which was delicious! Try the tetes! And the almond biscuits. Delicious
