Springfield Grille - MARS

I ate at Springfield twice during a trip to PA and both times our server went above and beyond. The first time I ordered the ribeye, caeser salad and baked potato. After I place my order, the server came back very apologetic and said that they're out of the Caesar so I changed the Salad order. Next she came back and said the baked potatos were gone. She felt so badly that she comped our fried zucchini app. Then I had to tell her that the steak was very tough and gristly so the manager came by to apologize and brought me a delicious sirloin strip steak. Our next visit for brunch and our server was Jason I believe who was an absolute delight. He ran out of blueberry muffins and felt bad so he said he was buying us dessert. We chose a chocolate cheesecake to go and when he brought it he said he added the peanut butter pie as well as a treat for us. I have never had servers offer us free food when something went wrong and it was so nice and definitely memorable. I think more restaurants should do this. It certainly made an impression on me and my family. Everything we had was great and I'm especially in love with the crispy fried zucchini. Can't wait to go back!

Outstanding food and service. Chicken marsala was delicious, shrimp cocktail was great. Pricing was on point and the staff was super helpful. Highly recommend eating here. Even the bread was great !

Had the steak cake, felt the steak was just slightly over cooked for a medium rare, but still acceptable and delicious. Steak had a nice almost smoky sear and the cran lobster cake made a nice counterpoint. Good atmosphere. Wood everything. Waitress was lovely and attentive. Seating was right in front of the toasty fireplace. Felt like a ski lodge a bit. Very enjoyable. If I lived closer by, I'd probably come for steaks at least once a month.

Bougie that won't break the bank. Courteous and attentive staff, awe-mazing food, and cozy setting. Been a date-night favorite for us for years. Never, ever disappointed. The signature peanut butter pie is a must have!
