Joe's Cafe Donuts King Cakes - Marrero

I only get their burgers and they are good......however, I would not buy donuts from them. They always seem to have flies flying over and on the donuts. I told the lady today that they have flies on the donuts and her response was just yeah...it 's hard to keep them out with the windows and doors opening ....I told her that that is still nasty. So if they have a hard time keeping out the flies (which is still disgusting and unsanitary)....then the least you can do is keep a cover over the donuts so that the flies aren 't contaminating the food......

Stopped here for breakfast. Donuts were good. We had a large group so people in our party tried a variety of entrees for breakfast and lunch. Everything was pretty good. I liked the shrimp and grits.

MY COMMENT PICTURES WERE DELETED! How RUDE! I will re-comment what I experienced! I went to get two orders of glazed beignets it was burnt! I asked the co-worker(Barbara) can it be recooked or refund. I was told the cook don’t want to recook the manager just left so I can’t get a refund. Poor customer service!

The food and atmosphere were great. Sitting an hour in the drive-thru waiting for food with no explanation was unacceptable.
