Jake's Seafood - Marrero

The seafood at this restaurant is top-notch and the service is very attentive. The prices are among the most affordable in the area. The atmosphere is a bit too quiet for my liking - you can hear a pin drop. The neighborhood may be a bit rough, but overall, I highly recommend this place.

Good family food. One of my favorite places to eat with my family. I always start off with a cup of chicken and Sausage gumbo then depending on what's the special of the day will determine what I order. One of my favorite menu items is the Fried chicken plate. you get alot of food for the price. The all you can eat fried fish is an excellent choice as well. At one time me and my family were eating here at least once a week.

Good comfort food. Nice neighborhood spot for comfort food. the lunch buffet on fridays isnt bad for the money. donna, the waitress is awesome!!!!
