Al Baraka - Marrakesh

It was magical in the night we spent in this magnificent restaurant. the incredible mysterious atmosphere brings it in the past. the taste of maroco in every bite and every look. a must in marrakech that they do not allow their shoulder to miss. they love the dinge!

Ate here on Feb 23, 2022, after receiving a recommendation. The ambiance was nice, classy, upscale. I had the prefix menu “Pacha”. Which was lamb tajine, salad, desert. It was just too much food. It would’ve been better to split it with someone else. I took the desert and oranges to go. No point in wasting it. The only negative, it was cash only. Service was above average (perhaps it was late and I was there only patron?

We walked through the souks and looked at the food stands first before coming to this place as this is our first night here so we want to eat with some comfort and nice ambiance. The decor is unique and full of Moroccan flavour. We have couscous with lamb and tanjia which is a special dish from Marrakesh. Both of them were very testy. The staff was very pleasant and helpful! The musician and the dancers are also part of the whole dining experience. I would highly recommend this place to other visitors. Tomorrow we will be heading the to food stands for some street flavour.

Hidden off the edge of the market, away from the noice. love the building and decor. Food and service was good, also the belly dancer.
