Bidrage med feedbackOur first day in Marrakech was wonderful and to end the day we chose to have dinner at one of the stalls in Djema El Fna square. There are so many stalls with the same prices that we finally decided on the one where the seller was the friendliest, so we decided to give it a try. I must admit that the experience was great and with a fantastic price, as we were 2 couples and it cost us about 10,00€ per couple, which is very cheap. Of course, the cleanliness is Moroccan cleanliness, so people who are very meticulous should probably not go to Marrakech. First of all, they place a piece of paper as a plate/tablecloth, an individual bread, the drinks (I always advise asking for bottled drinks and not asking for glasses, drink directly from the bottle) and in the center of the table some typical Moroccan olives (delicious) and two homemade tomato sauces to accompany (one spicier than the other). Then we ordered grilled eggplant, fries, and 2 servings per person of chicken and beef skewers, of course we didn't know that each serving per person came with 6 chicken skewers and 6 beef skewers, so we had a feast of skewers haha... As a gesture of hospitality, they invited us for 4 mint teas (like coffee in Spain), we really liked it, the food was well prepared and since our first experience at the square went so well, we repeated it on other occasions at other stalls.
Our first day in Marrakech was amazing and to end the day, we decided to dine at one of the many restaurants in Djemaa el Fna square. With so many options offering similar prices, we chose based on the friendly demeanor of the seller. We were pleasantly surprised by the great experience and fantastic prices - only 10,00€ per couple for a delicious Moroccan meal. The restaurant was clean and the service was impeccable. As a special touch, we were treated to four glasses of mint tea, a traditional Moroccan drink. We enjoyed the food so much that we returned to the square multiple times during our stay.
