My Place -marquette, Mi

We weren't sure about this hotel chain as we hadn't heard of it before but we loved it and will definitely look for and stay at My Place hotels in the future...and to top that off the price was right. The room was spacious, super clean, quiet and included a kitchenette complete with a full size fridge (so you could make your own ice), stovetop, sink, toaster, garburator and coffeemaker. The bed was comfortable with fluffy pillows. There was also a recliner in the room. The washroom was large and the shower was roomy with lots of hot water. This hotel thought of all the little details. A shout out to our concierge, Nova who was super friendly and informative. They should get a great performance review from their supervisor as they were the best concierge we encountered during our one month travels.

I liked that it had a kitchenette and a big bathroom. The only things they could improve on is the fact that they don't have breakfast already made in the lobby for them hard working men that don't have time to make there own breakfast. And they shouldn't charge you for breakfast. Because all I got was a Jimmydean microwave egg, sausage, and cheese biscuit with a yogurt and orange juice. And the location was okay but I'd much rather be closer to a grocery store, a McDonald's, and the lake but then it would be more costly. Other than that I really liked staying at My Place Hotel.

Clean and modern. Loved the small outdoor pavilion area, there was even a gas grill available. If we’re ever back in the area we most definitely be staying here again. Well done staff for maintaining this property inside and out.

The room was clean and quiet. Staff was very nice. They had a nice selection of snacks in their “My Store” including Cedar Crest ice cream which hit the spot! There was lots of parking and the room was nice and big. I loved having an ice maker in my own room!

Very welcoming crew working the night we checked in. I have to give highest props to Nova. She was awesome and very helpful even when I couldn’t remember my own room number. She brought me the coffee that I requested on my way in. There was none left in their cabinet so Nova went to storage and brought the requested coffee to my correct room number. Awesome is an understatement!!! Thanks Nova for making our stay a great one!!!!
