Thai at Night - MAROOCHYDORE

There is a new restaurant that has just opened where the old Spirit of Tibet restaurant used to be many years ago.

The flavor was decent. I ordered the BBQ pork with rice for $13, but I could have gotten a larger portion for the same price elsewhere.

I ordered the green curry. It was way too sweet and didn't have an authentic flavour. I asked for medium but it was mild-actually no chili at all. I couldnt smell or taste any fresh lemongrass etc. The sauce was so smooth as if it was just paste + coconut cream & of course tons of suger. I dont kno why they think we want so much suger in it, my wife couldnt even stomach it. I ate it because I was hungry but would never order a curry from here again. It was cheap tho thats why I gave it an average rating. Not sure if they make a different standard for full price meals but u would hope so

I am not a big fan of Thai food - however we wanted some take-away which was close to our accommodation so decided to give this place a try. I am so glad we did - the food was delicious and I had enough left over for another meal the next day. I would definitely return in the future.

Quite good especially on Thursday $10 night . Service lovely but don't go for the decor or ambience .
