Beach House Bar & Grill Maroochydore

I really wanted a steak for dinner & i found Beach House Bar & Grill could deliver. It was A Sunday night after the plaza had closed & we were also heading for a movie there. Disappointed that we could not get a steak until later at Mooloolaba we headed towards our movie to see what we could find. Found great service & food here. Was not busy but this could be expected being the time it was on a Sunday evening. Meals were great steak cooked well & a good size meal as we are all used to getting over filled plates full of cheap filling chips & lots of lettuce. Meals not large & a little expensive but the rent here is probable through the roof. I was satisfied & washed it down with a cider on tap from the bar here also. Give them a go very enjoyable.

There was something on the menu for everyone. The bear was cold, the wine list good and the service was ok.

Stopped to have a family lunch while visiting the Sunshine Coast and chose Beach House Bar and Grill because the one in Brisbane is great. Unfortunately apart from the name any similarity stops there. Trio of seafood consisted of a 2 inch (off cut) piece of the thinnest piece of Cod you've ever seen. The 400g rump was also the thinnest piece of rump and overcooked when ordered medium rare. On both meals obviously they were running out of potatoes because the few we got were dismal. My sons nachos was the only highlight on a dim day but that's a stretch too. All in all woeful compared to its Brisbane counterpart. With so much competition in this restaurant area I would select a different restaurant next time!

Tonight we ordered 2 rib fillet steaks, 1 medium and 1 medium rare.We received 2 well done steaks that tasted burnt. Very disappointing. We used the entertainment book so only paid for 1 meal but regardless this was really bad, take the steak off the menu or only offer well done.We were offered free drinks, we declined as we chose to eat the meal and not take it back.We should have taken it back

Stopped in after going to the movies for a quick bite. Staff were lovely and food arrived quickly. My partner got a chicken parma and I got fish and chips - simple meals but hit the spot.
