The Marlton Tavern

Marlton tavern is a casual place that has great eating, whether they want basic bar food or a complete meal. the steaks we had were fabulous and ready for our lust, along with garlic maische and veggie medley. beautiful wine, beer and drink selection and also a great service. we hope to be back.

Overall the food was good the service was very efficient and friendly. I would definitely go back for another meal. Great neighborhood place.

Ordered shrimp cocktail. Me he says 6 we got 5. So we got another one in a small dish full of water. They had absolutely no taste....similar to old thawed out shrimp. Terrible. Ordered a salad topped with crabmeat. Crabmeat was tasteless also similar to old thawed out seafood. Daughter ordered chicken parmigiana....one life was all ligaments and tendon couldn’t even cut it, but I guess the chef feels that if he covers it in enough sauce and cheese the people won’t complain. My son ordered cheesesteak. Again no taste....maybe the chef doesn’t believe in seasonings. All the food was terrible. Won’t ever go back service was mediocre and food is always terrible (sorry for repeating myself but can’t help it . My fault for going back with high hopes.

They did not have my reservation. The crabs were over cooked and should not be soft!!

We really enjoyed the porch seating, the food was great, as was the service. Since first impressions are important, a fresh coat of paint on the outside (especially the railing along the walkup to the door) would go a long way. Since this was out first visit, I was concerned that the food and interior would not be up to snuff as we walked up the ramp. This was not the case. Thanks, again, for a great lunch.
