Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I used to frequent this restaurant and really enjoyed the quick and casual dining experience. However, after we took our family there, half of us ended up with food poisoning. I contacted the restaurant to let them know, and the manager suggested that we might have gotten sick from something else we ate that weekend, despite the fact that our families were only with us at Joe's. It didn't make sense, and they seemed indifferent to our situation, offering no refund or support. I would strongly advise against going there!
Until today, this restaurant was pretty reliable—nothing extraordinary, but decent enough. However, my experience today was disappointing and marked the worst pizza I've ever had. It was excessively greasy, almost swimming in oil, and so flimsy that I initially thought it was undercooked. I had requested my pizza to be well-done, but what I received was the complete opposite. Additionally, there was no warning about a surcharge for using a credit card in the drive-thru. When you're quoted one price by the waitress and then see a different amount on the receipt just moments later, it feels like a bit of a scam. Although the manager kindly offered a credit after I called, chances are I won't be returning any time soon. For $27, I expected much better pizza.
The stromboli looked good, but once I took a bite, I found the cheese to be gummy in a way I had never experienced before, and there was hardly any flavorful steak. My boyfriend's quesadilla was similar. When a manager came by to check on us, she offered some flavored green teas, which I declined. She then suggested microwaving some iced tea for me at no charge. However, when we received the bill, there was a charge of over $2.50 for it. I would never return to this restaurant. The prices are quite high, too!
Nice place ……Great food…….. young staff but very capable and friendly and they know their food and make great recommendations!
My family has been going to Joes frequently for many years, but probably won’t return. We ordered delivery and after waiting over an hour we called to see the status. We were told it would be there any minute. Waited another 35 minutes and called again. Once again, we were told any minute. I finally asked to cancel our order. A manager got on the phone and begrudgingly voided our order after telling me he would have to call the driver to turn around. I understand wait times can sometimes be long but was really bummed that not one of the 3 people we spoke to attempted to apologize in any way.
