Ho Garden Chinese - Markham

When my fried rice arrived, it was a bit underwhelming in appearance—plain and colorless. However, the flavor was good, featuring shrimp, calamari, and imitation crab meat. While it tasted fine, I wished it had looked more appealing. On the other hand, the stir-fried spaghetti was both visually and taste-wise satisfactory. Next time, I think I’ll choose something saucier to make the dish more presentable. The table next to us ordered the sizzling plate sirloin, which looked really appetizing. I might have to splurge on that for $12.99 next time!

Ho Garden is an affordable Hong Kong-style restaurant situated near the intersection of 16th Ave. and Woodbine Ave. in Markham. This eatery has been around for several years, and my husband used to frequent it when he lived at home. I visited for the second time recently, but unfortunately, it didn't measure up to my initial experience.
