Bennie's Italian Food in Marion, Illinois, is a true local gem. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is absolutely delicious, and the wine selection is great. The restaurant is spacious and offers a lovely view from the upper floor. I ordered the salmon, my daughter had a baked potato, and my partner enjoyed the Cannelloni Princess. Everything was fantastic! Our server even kindly provided my daughter with four quarters to use for a toy from the change machine, after asking for our permission first. It was a thoughtful gesture, and we made sure to tip her well. Definitely a 5-star experience all around!

Bennie's is an excellent spot for casual Italian dining. There aren't many Italian restaurants in the area, making it a standout choice. The Cannelloni and Lasagna are particularly delicious. Additionally, the menu offers plenty of options for those who may not prefer Italian cuisine. We especially enjoy the bread served with spiced olive oil after 5 PM. The wall paintings add a nice touch to the restaurant's ambiance. I've always found Bennie’s to be clean with attentive service. However, if there’s an event at the Marion Civic Center, be prepared for a wait before you’re seated, as it's a very popular dining destination due to its proximity to the center.

A delightful surprise! We were passing through Marion and decided to find a place to eat that caught our eye. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff was friendly, and our food arrived quickly. All three of us loved our meals: chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, and shrimp Alfredo. Everything was delicious!

Wow, I came from Adam's shoes. The smell of Italian food was so good. Not from the area. But I had to go in. Everyone was very pleasant. Just the sandwich. It was so good. Very recommended for lunch.

First time we went, had Cat she was so helpful guiding us on the menu. The cheese bread is great, got the fettuccine and came with garlic bread. Very delicious!!
