Max's - Marilao

Very poor service. First they gave us an outdated menu with a much cheaper price. Food is not so good. They forgot one order until i ask for follow up but took another 30 mins that my friend who ordered it decided to have it for takeout. Very confusing itemized account on the receipt. I visited this Max's location during a busy time and was impressed by the speedy service. Despite the restaurant being almost full, we were seated right away and the staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has plenty of parking space available in front. However, I must say that the food didn't quite meet my expectations. Although it was delivered quickly, it didn't taste as good as at other Max's locations I've visited. Overall, while the restaurant has a convenient location along a busy highway, I would only recommend it for a quick bite or if you're in a rush. Unfortunately, leaving the place took 30 minutes longer than expected. 15 minutes to pay and another 15 minutes to get our leftovers packed. Update: we had lunch at this Max's location again today and we left disappointed. The food was mediocre at best. What was even more disappointing was that our Max's Rewards Card was not honoured today because for some reason our bill was broken into two and individually they did not meet the criteria for the discount. Not sure why they split our bills into two, while we placed our entire order at the same exact time.

Located at the back of the station, it's a great place to stop on your way north. Staff is attentive and helpful, and the halo halo is divine. They also have their own washroom inside the restaurant so you don't have to go to the crowded public bathroom. Definitely one of our preferred stops when we go on the NLEX! First, fresh lumpia good as i expected 8.9 bulala is good but try to cook the potatoes more, kare kare is very tasteful Mais con yelo very good but the corn is not that perfect Fry chicken very good it's soft and crispy lechon very good too my grandma likes it.
