Bidrage med feedbackAfter the visit of the Ex-Hacienda san gabriel de barrera we came to lunch. we enjoyed a really good pizza, caprese salat and desert. the service was excellent. we had a red cocosnus strawberry drink desire also really good. the pizza came with a side. of a kind spicy garlic aioli, I had not as sauce as this with pizza, but thought it was great with it. it is worth the trip of centro, as I could not find an Italian place of this quality. we took the bus back as there is a stop over the road so it is possible to take a bus there too. highly recommended.
We did not expect to eat Italian foods of such excellent quality anywhere in mexiko. Maybe we shouldn't be surprised because the cook is an Italian. great pizza, excellent risotto al mushrooms, cut with an excellent nebbiolo. contempt, personal and personal service. we were. lit and to be clear that we visited italia 30 times - to have found this restaurant in the frascati hills would have been a joy to find it in guanajuato wow!
So after reading all these great reviews and friends recommend, this place we decided to go. as we were prepared for less than average services mentioned in many comments, but somehow still disappointed about this service. our waiter has changed...and to the outside seats when the chance came up, but there ends the service. I ordered a calzone, I had no one for years because no one puts them here, was excited and guess what. the waiter made a mistake and I got a normal pizza. great pizza nevertheless but not a calzone. eating was ok in this night, service was far under par. we will get rid of another one so that I can improve this evaluation, as eating has great potential, only not last night.
The worst was that there was a stone in my risotto, and the waiter didn't even attempt to apologize. But the rest was also mediocre. There was no bread to accompany the meal--just one that they wanted to sell us. The portions were small. The only saving grace to earn more than one star was that the pizza was fairly good.
Its not centrally located so we hesitated in going there but boy were we glad we did! Food is so authentic. We met the owners, they're from Rome, no wonder food is fantastic. The personnel is super friendly, service fast, place looks nice, modern and...clean. We had the traditional fettuccine, bruschetta and a pizza 4 stagione and everything was amazing. Pizzas are made in a traditional wooden oven. The owners keep a close eye to ensure everything is perfect. We will come back.
