Bidrage med feedbackAfter the change of owner disappointed The offer of the kitchen/breakfast is by far no longer what we used to in Gran Foda or in other hotels in South Tyrol. Plate cold, food lukewarm. Breakfast no fruit salad, no bread, only cheap baking rolls. Staff in the service are quite overwhelmed. We have never experienced such a cool departure in a hotel. Neither a thank you, whether everything was in place etc. The new managing director is rather in the office than helping the staff. Guest care is not his strength. The South Tyrolean cordiality was completely lost due to the change of ownership. There is a lack of a management that leads with body and soul this beautiful hotel.
Weekend with friends in a new structure for us, we found the Gran Fodà hotel to be a friendly, welcoming and quiet environment; has private parking in the building and direct access to ski slopes and ski lifts; we took advantage of the half board service which we greatly appreciated both for quality, quantity and variety, with a buffet breakfast offering various sweet and savory choices, and a four-course dinner with a buffet of appetizers and side dishes and a double choice of first and second courses of both meat and fish; welcoming, well-kept and very clean rooms, with views of the surrounding nature; all the staff, starting with the director, are very helpful, professional and attentive to every request and need; in our opinion the price is in line with what is offered; We will definitely return and highly recommend it.
This hotel is amazing. We had a great time, the staff is fantastic and the food delicious. We will visit the hotel again for sure, hopefully soon! Service: 5
My God, what happened to the Gran Foda! We were at this hotel for the 8th time. The location, the rooms, just fantastic. The affectionate atmosphere and guided tour, right on the slope in a complete alone position. All the conditions for a relaxing holiday. That's how it was all these years. After an operator change in 2023, the service has unfortunately changed considerably. All decorations that convey a cozy and loving ambience are gone. The food, always a sign of the hotel, is a disaster. In this area of Italy it is already an art to present such a food. The service personnel were partly very strenuous, but also completely untrained and therefore overwhelmed. It really seems like a layman's troupe is trying to run a hotel. It had been a little scurry. But there are also conciliatory things. The rooms are still great and the cleaning staff are very good. To sum up, it is completely incomprehensible how a so-called guardian like the La Perla from Corvara can offer such a quality. Therefore, despite the great location, we can only forgive a star. We lost the Gran Foda as a guest. Shame!
The hotel is a catastrophe from breakfast and dinner. The quality is worse than the worst snack bar. I can only join the previous recessions. The rolls are not even baked, they are simply put on the buffet from the ready-made bag. The food selection is catastrophic and then also inedible. Vegetables cold and meat only fat and queue. The staff is totally overwhelmed with guests and the price performance ratio is much too high. Not recommended!! !
