Ole Farmstead Inn - Marengo

Ole Farmstead is no longer here. Restaurant at this location is now the Legacy. Nice place to stop for a burger if you are driving north from Columbus, right off the road.

This place was good 2 years ago. It has been taken over by a chain. Bad service and bad food now. The iced tea was okay.

This place should have more stars than they have. It is going through a renovation and that was the only negative cuz the smell of adhesive or something was strong but it's looking great and the food is good. We had eggs, bacon all cooked perfectly. Hubby loves sausage links and always thrilled when a place has them. I also had grits which aren't available everywhere. Staff is friendly and attentive but not intrusive, they kept the coffee flowing. In my many years of traveling 71 to Columbus and back I've never stopped but I will from here on. Looking forward to seeing the final renovation.

It's closed and replaced by Legacy restaurant and bar. Entrance has been moved. The bar side is done restaurant side is not. Interior so far is nice and lots of TVs. Food is not the greatest or mediocre. Oily seasoned steak, dry burger, cheap frozen GFS fries. Fries should've been fresh cut. Burger should be hand pattied instead of frozen consistency.
