Watch from your table or the sushi bar as magical things happen here: smoky charred eggplant cooled with mint sauce; Shishito peppers, dashed with lime and salt, blistered and potentially dangerous (one out of 10 is unexpectedly spicy); flavor-rich Korean bulgogi-style skirt steak; vinegar-splashed fatty pork belly. Order it all.
The maitre d ' was not there to greet us. The when he did get there he asked How can I help you? We are here for lunch I replied. The phone rang and he asked if he could answer it before we are seated. What am I to say. The call was breif but still. Then he seated us. We are here in the past and it is just not at all as I remember it. Last time the food we ordered was BAMM! , it tantalized our taste buds. I was so excited to go back for that same experience . Well I was extreamly disappointed. I 'm glad I tried it before I took my family of 8 there to eat. I would not recommend it to anyone. Service was less then basic we were offered wine but nothing else. When done with meal we received our bill by the waiter tossing it on the table. I put my card in and placed it at the end of the table, after about ten minutes I took it up to the maitre d ' took payment. Still left 20% plus tip. I hope the quality and service get better. There are so many other great restaurants to eat at. I will not be back.
I was so disappointed being such a well known chef I figured the restaurant would be excellent but I was greatly disappointed. We ordered what I now consider an overpriced Thanksgiving special which took a long time coming to the table and everything on the plate was barely warm and some of the sides were missing and we had to ask for the sides, Then the dessert was like a Wal-Mart pie nothing special and had to ask if we were going to get the pie after a long wait after the entree. Poor watier service for the cost of the meal
Waitress wasn't attending to our needs. Didn't get everything published on Thanksgiving menu after paying $50 per person. Had to ask for refills on drinks took long time B4 getting any food long wait between courses. Then at last minute told the cheesecake I ordered was not available but it listed on menu. Restroom for women was not clean basin wouldn't drain. :
I hate McDonald's... McDonald's has better food. All of the meat here is fatty and processed.
