Auflauf - Marburg

A traditional meal and a must in marburg where they really pot with cheese and a lot of sweet, a white cheese sauce, baked slowly. it is slowly cooked and they must have enough time to enjoy the smell and taste. I'm sure it is. very hot! service is good, as at any place in this university town marburg personal is asking everywhere whether they need something, give them great advices from good beer or also the best wein for their meal. the restaurant it itself is a place to see, very old-fashioned and well preserved. the road, the neigborhood is great.

This place is simply great, out of place a bit, in the 21st century. eating is old-fashioned ok, there is the inevitable tapas, but in general, up and that is a blessing, no curse is still used as pubs. in the old days of marburg university (but smoke free, happy). for us, the generation of the last century, go there, they will feel like in their own student times, go to enjoy the variety of beers, the simple and also the heavy food; and, for the students of the 21st century: go there and forget the coffee bar, hipster tapas and vegan stands and enjoy them analogy. the herrentoilettes need an uplift, but also this is not known from the old times to be shic, but a bit worn out.

The restaurant has changed its name, but the staff is still very friendly and the prices cheap. beautiful sitting area also outside. pay attention to the buckling cake is tiny for a person.

Not bad, but certainly not eating good. also the service was very average, and finally I had to go to the cashier and ask for the bill (after 30 minutes waiting).

Went to a restaurant with my bf and his colleague. Service is really good, staff is absolutely 100% kind and nice! The atmosphere is friendly and appropriate for families, couples, friends, anybody. Food is very good but I wouldn't give it the best rating.
