This restaurant has been going for ages. They have it just right, from the staff and service to the food. It never fails. For those having starters, the Bruschetta is a very good sized portion. The squid ink calamari risotto was absolutely superb. With most of the Port eateries, mediocre or awful, go here, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
We visited Pasta Factory twice during our trip to Spain and both times we enjoyed our meals. Whichever garlic bread or bruschetta you order for starter is lovely, but be warned they are generous portion sizes and it is easy to spoil your main course with them. Between us we had both the chicken milanese which was lovely and prawn arrabbiata which again was lovely but a little hotter than expected. The second time we had the chicken milanese again and then the pizza di pollo which again was very flavourful. Anything you want to add or remove on any of the dishes on the menu they can do which is a nice touch, so completely customisable. Do not fill yourself up to much on your first two courses as for dessert they appear with a tray filled with a variety of cold desserts such as carrot cake, tiramisu, keyline pie etc.
Friendly service but both of our pasta dishes were dry and lacking in flavour. Starters were nice and great choice of mains. Not sure what the issue was, whether we visited off season or they should offer fewer choices and concentrate on quality.
Great restaurant great service great food, great value. Lots of choice on the menu and tables both inside and outside. We’ve been multiple times and it never disappoints. The desserts are small in size but leave you wanting more and packed full of flavour and just enough after a large main course
