Buddies San Pedro De Alcantara

We came from the hotel over the road to eat as we haven’t been enjoying the food there. We both ordered a pasta dish (carbonara and tuna pasta) here and really enjoyed it, plus the portion was huge. It was cheap and cheerful, the atmosphere was nice with some music being played in the background and we also had a cocktail which was lovely !

Awful bar music to loud until gone 2am keeping most of the hotel next door awake! Not a single.care given for residents in the area

This seems to be a duplicate , or updated site. We found this such a refreshing change from the all inclusive food and drinks from the hotel next door. Don't expect quick service as this is cooked after you order and is well worth waiting for. They do barbecues which we missed out on but their meats, entrcote steaks, looked terrific. Great value for money and an extensive menu. We had two evenings there, very very enjoyable.

Last night of holiday And fed up of the same processed food in our hotel so went to Buddies as it was LITERALLY next door to the hotel we were in we had already been earlier in the week And had a pizza and it was delicious but when we went this time there was a guy cooking meat on THe barbecue . WE chose our steak And how exactly we have wanted it cooked And it was so lovely. The guy who cooked iy kept coming over to check that we were happy and was very humble. They also brought over complimentary cheesy garlic bread which was stupendous We had a huge of sangria. The bill came to 60euros for t bone was MASSIVE), a sirloin And s jug of Sangria We had been to la gaucho in peurto banus earlier in the week for steak which was lovely but they brought bread over which we didn't ask for and charged us for it and asked if we'd like water on the table and we said yes And They charged €7 for it!! We also felt really rushed at la gaucho whereas at Buddies we felt chilled And could just take our time and enjoy our meal and drink we only left because it dropped extremely cold. Definitely worth a visit for pizza OR steak.

Just a meal at buddies bar.,. absolutely superb.... Friendly atmosphere and delicious food....well worth a visit. Chef brought the meal over and checked all was ok. Cooked to perfection on the outside wire fire !!
