Oar House Family Restaurant - Marathon

Thanks to Google reviews, I was able to discover this restaurant while traveling from Thunder Bay to Sault Ste Marie. We were in need of a place to eat in an area with limited options, so we were happy to come across this restaurant. Despite there being no sign on the outside of the building indicating that it is a restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the made-to-order meals. One group that came in after us was informed that there would be a wait of an hour due to other tables being served ahead of them. Additionally, there is a table in the back that is reserved for groups of 6 or more. The waitress was friendly and attentive, providing great service throughout our meal.

While in Marathon for work, I have found one of my favorite places to order from. The service is great and the food is delicious. The burger and poutine were excellent. I will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again in the future.

I ordered the chicken panini and found it to be very satisfying and delicious. My friends also enjoyed their meals. The service was prompt and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly. I will definitely return to this restaurant whenever I come back to Marathon.
