Marathon Classic Coffee Limited

We were hard pressed to find a local place to eat lunch in Marathon. We finally found classic coffee in a small mall that had seen better days. I ordered the soup of the day with a turkey sandwich. The soup was ok but the sandwich was a surprise, some dry sliced turkey breast between two slices of white loaf bread. I am 70 years old and have never had a sandwich like that in a restaurant.

I went to this place just for a quick little pit stop, it's no wonder I don't support the local restaurants in town......service, service service. So I waited 10 minutes, no biggie, 2 other people in there, already served, but ok 10 minutes..... Ordered coffee and a muffin.....coffee was brought to me wrapped in Saran Wrap with a napkin. Could they not have put it on a plate and made it ABIT more presentable? My friend was with me......we laughed about it at first, coffee came, she kinda slid it on the table and walked away at the same time, no spoon to stir, no stir stick, no napkins......hmmmmmm, guess we weren't spending enough money so why bother . So classic coffee, sorry that's it for me

There always smiling there and the food is good. Variety is found in there daily soups. LCBO available too,opens around 9 closes at 5:30

Ordered chicken noodle soup when it came to the table i had to send it back tasted like it was sitting on the stove all day it was lunch time, the noodles were like mush so soggy.. wasnt to impressed. just came across this site so thought i would use it.

Food was good and service was excellent. Enjoyed the coffee and the salad they prepared. Atmosphere is also nice and quiet.
