I was there the first time in 2002 and then I returned several times to the next summers. Here is a piece of my heart and I know I'm not objective. Special atmosphere; authentically Greek with very few tourists: it is a tavern dedicated mainly to locals. You eat the poor dishes of the tradition cooked but well and served with great kindness and courtesy. The manager was a waiter in a Roman place about thirty years ago and welcomes the Italians with warmth. Here I several times came to eat even at the middle of the night, beginning to eat around 24:00 00:30 without anyone getting uncommon. The place is in an inner plateau of Lefkada and seems to be far from the sea, although it is a short walk. At night, after dinner, it is beautiful to take a walk towards a viewpoint not far away where, together with the pike, you can see a breathtaking view of the port below. Vegetarian options: In fact they are of turns out:; you can eat vegetarian having to settle: rice peppers zucchini eggplant cucumbers and various vegetables as contours.Kid friendliness: Children are always welcome because it is a popular place. The front square is fenced (of course it has an entrance without gate). Parking: It is not a tourist place so you park mainly along the public road. Wheelchair accessibility: The local has a large square in front of with pergola where you can eat outdoors (as well as inside). Both the square and the local are on the street level.

Great Greek traditional food, straight off the grill. You can't go wrong with any menu item, and I highly recommend the chicken souvlaki and the assorted dips.
