Hello to everyone, today I review the Agriturismo la meridiana in marano Vicentino. The occasion is a convivial Sunday lunch with friends made in November The perfectly renovated farmhouse, is a beautiful country cottage, well integrated in the landscape and with a large private parking. The interior is the classic barn where all the tables are placed, well equipped with tablecloths and napkins, which, if simple, make it pleasant to sit at the table. the menu is rather tightened in the choice of dishes, which are however all to be in line with traditions and well inviting. I decide for first course for maran cornmeal dumplings, with a radicchio sauce, definitely well made and goose. second, I choose an excellent pork thigh with the fruits of the wood, decidedly Gothic and particular, with a pleasant sweet backgoto, only sin the scarcity of the portion. Mixed contours, good cooked vegetables but with roasted potatoes rather subtone. Sweet, a cottage cheese slice and pear has worthyly concluded lunch. Simple accompaniment wines, little choice. Waiting times a little long, but considering that they arrived almost at and the room full of people who in good part waited for lunch, I do not feel to move particular criticisms on the timing. The table service, however, I found it quite inadequate, with some quite inexperienced waiters. The room was full and the rumour turned out to be a bit annoying, I would not recommend the place for an intimate dinner, but surely it can go well for companies of friends or large families. Not well the fact that they have not checked the green passes to anyone, these days a necessary operation for the protection of all, as well as mandatory. Price paid for the whole full meal with wine, on the twenty-five euros, honest good value for money, good. Conclusions: recommended place for informal lunches/ dinners with friends or family, typical cuisine of the territory, not banal and definitely well prepared with quality ingredients, to try.

Very nice and spacious farm with many table. Nice staff. you eat really well,products of the territory like marano corn polenta. all really delicious. Good price. great also for many companies.
