In practice it is a family-run inn located in a beautiful little village 10 minutes from Marano sul Panaro, perfect especially in the evenings of unbearable calura, in the plain. Fixed menu, not suitable for vegans or gluten or lactose intolerants. Vegetables are the ones that give the vegetable garden in season. We ate gnocco with salami and cup, meatballs (buonissime), lasagna (ottime) and tagliatelle with mushrooms (discrete), sausage with lambrusco and rabbit in the oven (super). Selection of wines clearly limited but not bad: for example there is the Lambrusco Acino, which in my opinion is a good grasparossa. All for € 30 per person. That in the city now is enough for a pizza, or a little more. The reception of the host gives an extra touch. If you're looking for something real and not the last cool and instagramable place, this is the right place.
A wonderful discovery. We had been strongly advised and we can confirm without doubt the most positive judgments. A secluded, rustic inn, attention to detail, but family run: Rossana and her parents welcome you as a family person. Traditional menu, which appetizers with fruit dumpling and salami, exceptional meatballs, first homemade dishes and meat seconds with vegetables contours, homemade cakes. We opted for the appetizer, tagliatelle with ragù and tortelli cacio and pepper, contour of fried zucchini and gratinate and fried onions with tigelle. To follow cake of bitters and almonds and tart of black cherry.
Typical dishes cooked as at home very tasty, the local is rustic and cosy... seems to go back in time in a small village! !
Extremely negative experience. We were 8. Non-existent menu, for 15 minutes talk to us to propose his menu by voice. We choose the dishes, and wait. Sit at 8:30. to have a first lasagna appearance until 22:30. As a second it is ordered rabbit with baked potatoes, the dish makes the round table and not enough for everyone. At the request of a second round, negative response was over. We ask then roast pork and veal, brings 8 thin slices dry and not eatable. It ends with a really nasty embarrassing cake. In conclusion, 5 starters seven first seconds not for everyone, 2 total coffee 30€. To you the conclusion. The worst place I had in my life.
Beautiful stone farmhouse on the Modena hills. Small, intimate, well maintained, seems to return to the past. And here I stop, because the kitchen while being correct didn't impress me. Appetizer with a little of meats and two whole gnocchoni, a borlengo, a little dry lasagne ration, a dish with two slices of roast , two roasted potatoes of the day before! burned and warm, three cubes of fried cream, Water wine 30 euros. That sounds normal, but it's not. Anyway, I want to hope that the menu will come up a little bit, because it deserves a second chance.
