Diablitos Cantina - Mar del plata

This restaurant is confusing, it's like a white guy wearing a sombrero and doing a bad Mexican accent. The queso was okay, but we ordered 2 entree's, the first of which came out 10-15min before the second. The first entree was the tacos al pastor. The pork was bland and tasted like it was prepackaged and the tacos were dripping with pineapple juice. They were disappointing. Had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I'm happy to find a Gluten-Free option for my SLU student.

Super disappointed. I used to be a regular when it was on Laclede. I should have left when I didn't see a single Latino working, there was only one other customer there for friday night and they said it was under new management. I got the birria tacos and they were burnt and tasted super spicy, the staff was nice and replaced my birrias with a chicken quesadilla but it had no flavor and tasted like canned chicken. The fish and shrimp tacos gave myself and friend a stomach ache. The flavors were bland and the seafood comes deep fried in coconut batter. I won’t be back. The service and drinks were decent.

The service was cool, for there to be 5 people needing to be served, it took a long time, about 30 minutes to get tacos and a quesadilla. Sweet home salsa, and after the 2 of us were done eating, we felt sick. I do not recommend in the least. The tables that didn't have anyone sitting there for a while had a lot of food on most of the plates
