Great small coffee shop. Fun place that I am looking forward to visiting again. Serves Kahldis coffee.

This location is so immersed in its aesthetic and I love it! The drinks were great and the German light fare was so good! In particular their Bavarian and Beer Cheese pretzel was to die for. Will be visiting again!

Take a step into the Black Forest through the perspective of one of Grimm's fairytales. This coffee shop located between Compton Heights and the Fox Park neighborhood features delicious coffee and food items with a German twist. I recommend getting one of their coffee specials like the Black Forrest Mocha and definitely ordering a slice of Black Forrest cake if it is available! This place is SO cute and cozy! I got a breakfast sandwich and an iced matcha latte and both were delicious.

My husband and I would love to visit this coffee shop again, when we went during our StL coffee tour, our lattes were over-syruped and too sweet, but we believe it was just the day and that they have the ability to make very good drinks. Apart from the lattes, we absolutely loved the genuine friendliness of the staff, as well as the really neat, old medieval fairytale aesthetic!
