Subway - Maquoketa

I had an excellent takeout lunch today! The food was stellar, earning a perfect score of 5. The Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki was particularly outstanding and a must-try. The service was equally impressive, providing a seamless experience from start to finish, also deserving a 5-star rating. In addition, the overall atmosphere of the place, even while getting takeout, was welcoming and pleasant, another 5/5 from me. I highly recommend this spot for a delicious and satisfying lunch!

I have consistently experienced issues with my online orders here; they always seem to get messed up. The staff appears to lack motivation, though not every employee is the same. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 3.

This Subway location could easily be considered one of the most dilapidated in Iowa, and unfortunately, the staff is not very welcoming either. They don't accept credit cards, so make sure to bring cash. We ordered five sandwiches for lunch at work, and the main complaint from everyone was that the bread tasted stale, definitely not freshly baked. The sandwiches were also quite sparse on meat and cheese. Overall, the price seemed too high for what we received.
