Awesome quality, so very fresh! Highly recommend the snapper, calamari and salads

So refreshing! that is not her average fish and chip shop. the new owners have so much living and love in this place. the inner itself is fresh and lovingly decorated, but above all they focus on real eating! homemade sauces, homemade burgers, fresh fish with grilling possibility, locally produced ingredients and some bits are even homemade. it is clear that this crew takes care of our connection with means of life – to share where it comes from and how it is made. this is rare in the restaurant industry and rarer when it comes to fish and chip shops. I had the fresh snapper and it was grilled to perfection, with real, drool-worthy garlic butter. love it!

Very disappointing. I took me and watched her hand over my job to someone else. he opened it and returned it to the counter as soon as he realized that it was not, and then I saw them closing the package and calling my name. the selection of fishing was very limited, but understandable in view of the amount of customers you would receive in mapleton. the fish (barramundi) I have order was overcooked, the potato scallops were great, but the tasty chips were a very small portion for $8. Although there were many great reviews (and maybe we were just unhappy), I doubt that we were back for fish and chips. Apparently the burgers are fantastic. Maybe next time we have to try.

Can I say this is the BEST fish and chips we have ever had! We had the fresh snappergrilled with garlic butter cooked to perfection! I normally find grilled fish is often overcooked and dry but not here! The kale and cous cous salad was so fresh. Chips crunchy and fresh! We will certainly be back and worth the drive!
