I found this place from yelp. They have great reviews so I thought I tried it out. It was great. I will be going back again when I visit Manteca

Mamas and the Tapas cafe is my favourite restaurant in the bay. I'd never had Carribbean-themed food. I loved it! We shared the Tostones Tapa with Sriracha garlic aioli and was very delicious! Then each had the Mama's Combo of chicken flauta and beef empanada my partner had pork empanada. So delicious. There were only about 2 other occupied tables but they seemed to be doing a brisk take-out and DoorDash business. I hope to try the Cannon Ball tapas stuffed with picadillo and chorizo drizzled with the Sriracha garlic aiolo in my next visit. Here is a real great place to dine.

Omg best food ever! Want Something different and special? You've found your place. Staff is friendly attentive and the food is BOMB . We had the chicken tacos they were perfect .

The food is quite tasty and the ambiance is very bright. It's a corner restaurant with plenty of windows so it's a nice place to sit and talk. Wish there were more restaurants around like this.
