Bidrage med feedbackI have been a few times dining in and having the cook prepare our dinner at the hibachi part of the restaurant it’s always been excellent. Unfortunately last night we choose to call up and place an order for take out. The rice had a funny taste to it like a cleaning chemical taste the noodles where dry and out of three meals two of them had a piece of hair in them which immediately made us finished eating. Not sure what the difference in preparing the food from in person to take out but, do not recommend take out
Great local Japanese steak house. Service was a bit slow when we last went they seemed a chef down at the hibachi but otherwise great entertainment and good value. One of our group ordered the vegetarian sushi rolls which were unusually dry but otherwise no complaints.
My 85-year-old mother has advanced Alzheimer’s. We were a party of 6.(four adults ,one senior, one child. We had two appetizers , four hibachi, 3 extra sides, drinks etc. We asked if my mother could get the children’s hibachi which was still $20. It wasn’t really the cost. It was more the size of the food. The waitress who was very sweet came over and said the manager would not let us order for my mother the children’s hibachi, I left the table because I did not want to make my mother nervous to go talk to the manager. I explained to him her condition and truthfully she doesn’t really eat much. She doesn’t even really know where she is and would it be OK to order the $20 children’s hibachi . He said no, a rule is a rule and what I should’ve done is just ordered it for my granddaughter. I really didn’t understand what he was saying or what conclusion we came to, but I left and went back to my table. We were celebrating my son‘s birthday, and my mom had not been out in a long time. All of a sudden this man dressed all in black, who looked like the other workers there, but was American came over the table and threatened me not to ever speak to any of them again like that ! I truly don’t think I spoken any sort of way other than I am loud, and I definitely did not deserve to be yelled at in front of my whole family and basically threatened. Before I could even really understand what just happened, the man disappeared. The other staff members claim that he was just another patron sitting at the bar however, he truly was dressed like he worked in the kitchen. Needless to say, we felt very uncomfortable. I felt threatened. My son was very angry and it was his birthday. We were going to walk out, but we decided to stay only because we had ordered all of our food already. For the record:The man who cooked the food was great, and our waitress was very sweet. BUT our entire meal we were being watched through the giant fish tank. We were also uncomfortable. The manager claimed that the person that came over and yelled at us was only another customer. I do not believe that to be true. Our check was over $200 and I tipped the cook and the waitress 20% BUT I will NEVER go there again! Kind of sad because it’s a great place to go celebrate a birthday or special occasion, but I guess we’ll take our business elsewhere.
I love Japanese food! Wheelchair accessibility: God accessibility!
Consistent dining. Sushi was excellent, and hibachi yummy. Chose the dining room tonight for a bit more relaxed meal.
