Pho Palace 2 Noodles Grill - Mansfield

Been here several times and never really liked this place much. Unfortunately, Mansfield is very limited in terms of decent, healthy restaurants, so we go back once in a while. We will not return here again after our experience today. Ordered a rice/veggie dish and asked for less sauce. After the dish was brought out waiter apologized that this did not happen and said ?sorry, next time.? There was a hair found in the soup ordered. Notified the lady at the register who said ?ok.? Never offered to re-make the bowl or discount. Very unfriendly staff. Customer service is definitely low on their priority.

The food was at the point, but I didn't feel like a customer welcomed or appreciated. I ordered x29 and asked if it could be made in a combination plate (chicken and garnel) the gentleman who took my order was great and initially he was not sure to check with whom I had no problem. he goes and brings back a woman I take as manager and I tell her what I want. she says I don't have a combination and say I'll pay the charge for the supplement. She looks confused first and then tells me that it's going to be expensive ok, so it ends $5 for each supplement. that was the first. 2. I will come back to get my food and I ask if they added fish sauce for the bleeding reels, which showed me that it was added to the container with my bleeding reels, I will begin to say thank you and the manager interjects and says no and look at him in their speech I assume that it was a fee for the fish sauce. I am already insulted, and he came in and told her something in her speech she did not accept it again, but that was the just one. the thing is when someone is willing to pay for good food that is presented as they want, why should they try to feel bad about the order, I pay for it. I'll finish this. if I were someone, she would have acted like that. I wonder?

My pho was pretty good. Nice savory broth and tender meat. They only give you one lime wedge, 4 jalapeno coins and that's about it. My wife's shrimp fried rice and egg rolls were at best, pedestrian. The thing that does this place in however is their ugly attitude. I told the waitress I needed about an extra minute and i got an ugly look and she just turned and walked away. Then as I ordered, I wanted to place an order for take out as well and before I could even tell her this, she already was starting to walk away, With that sour look on her face. No smiles, they didn't even ask me how my meal was upon paying. That ugliness doesn't change the taste of the food, but it does change the mood of me eating there.

I would give a very fair review of our experience after eating here about 5+ times. The service from the initial staff you encounter who take the order is very concerning. There seems to be a racial discrimination and behaviour towards people of colour at this place which needs to be brought to the attention of agencies regulating Food service in Texas. It is very unacceptable considering how tasty most of their foods are but how unacceptable their service is..the lady that took our order on Sunday August 7th at 12:55pm was the last straw that broke the camel's back. She was harsh, impatient and almost felt bothered that our amily of 5 came to eat there..she used an inappropriate tonation, essentially just took away the menu and walked off. If she was having a bad day, I can understand but considering this has happened to us several times while their service to other people( upon observation) is more courteous. Our next concern will be escalated up for a review of the discriminatory practices at this place of business . I would sincerely hope they do better

Great vegan menu. I got the V5 and my carnivore wife ate more of my food than her own!
