Bidrage med feedbackWe were a party of 16 gathered to celebrate a 90th birthday. two long tables of eight were beautifully set with fabric serviettes, silver, name cards and a custom menu. the menu describes two appetizers and five possible entrees. once sitting guests were provided with parking space beer. These included heaping plates with a lot of cold cuts, salmon slices, olives, various spreads, cheese and three types of fresh bread. when the guests enjoyed the cold curs, our server shannon commanded for the appetizers and entrees. when a toast was completed to the birthday girl, the appetizers began to arrive. several members choose to skip the appetizers after they have already sat their first hunger pangs on the tray offers. they arrived soon after the generous service of salat, pommes, lachs, burger or scallops after the order of each hospitable. for those who could not eat their entire meal, several drawers were required. Birthday candles were illuminated and a delicious chocolate caramel cake cut and served by a Swiss round of happy birthday. In summary, the vault of my aunt has made a birthday party for nothing. the food was generous and delicious. our server shannon visited the needs of sixteen people with professional efficiency. the vault is a welcome addition to the Manotick eating scene and deserves one if not several visits.
For a drink on the patio during summer months, this place has a nice setup. It looks nice and the service was fine, but the food my primary reason for going to a restaurant was uninspiring. Had the Ahi salad.
A great take out option close to home, Chicken Curry and the Chemen Penne are both great options
Was a bit concerned about going after reading some reviews. I need not have worried, the service and food was very good, we were four and everyone liked what they ordered. The place was very busy and our waitress was attentive and very pleasant. We will return.
Last Saturday my husband treated our family to a wonderful brunch at the Vault. We were received with warmth smiles. The service was exquisite and food absolutely deliciously done. From the calamari, to tacos to seafood of the day to more vegetarian like meals to meat my husband’s restrictions. Everything was to perfection. The Sponge pudding with caramel shared by all at the table was a Devine dessert. Thank you. We’ll be coming back for Andrew birthday in April soon will tell all our Kanata/Stittsville friends?
