Bidrage med feedbackSo I stumbled across this wonderful food truck labeled the tamale addiction.it was a day right after they turn the lights on in Austin Texas. Let me tell you, I'm from San Antonio Texas. So I know good tamales. I would call these jumbo tamales they're notthe size of traditional tamales that you buy by the dozen. And they have plenty of meat inside of them. They are delicious! Andthe thing that gets me is that they are gluten free, MSG free, lard free. And a couple of other things. I don't know anythingabout their prices because our apartment complex paid them to feed us, that is the entire apartment complex. I've never visitedtheir restaurant so I can't comment on that. They do have I believe four or five different flavors. I tried the pork which is myfavorite. I also tried the mole flavored which was, well tasted like mole. So yeah I highly highly recommend this place fortamale lovers
Tamale Addiction regularly sets up at the Mueller Farmer's Market on Sundays. I got the Al Pastor Tamale $3.5) this time. It was pretty small but had a good amount of meat inside. It came with two salsas, green and red. I don't know much about Tamalesbut I think it tasted pretty good!
Waste of money. All masa no meat And overly expensive
Tried first time at georgetown market. will be back next week to try others. I loved the banana leaf tamale. the masa is perfect and not dry at all. seasoning was spot on in the beef mix.
Location was hard to find! once you walk up to the storefront there’s a sign that tells you to walk around the building to the back. There’s not a wide selection of tamales and the cashier told me that they come cold however when I received them they were frozen solid. I’m on a road trip I can’t do anything with that. As well when I went to pay on one of their cashless payment options they were trying to make me pay on another payment platform after I had already sent them the money. I won’t even be able to enjoy these because by time I get to where I would be able to heat them up they will have crossed the temperature threshold and be unsafe to eat. This was a waste of time I wouldn’t recommend if you need a quick bite.
