Jake's Stadium Pizza - Mankato

Order taker was kinda lost, she seemed over whelmed, kinda like a deer in the headlights feeling. Should have had a more seasoned front of house employee handling this first impression of the restaurant. The paper plates where as lame as the pizza sauce flavor. Very bland, I hate to say this but so plain a glass of water has as much flavor as the pizza sauce ???? the best thing about the pizza is the crust and that’s it. Not worth the stop, try another pizza place or perhaps KT across the street has better pizza no joke. Sorry Jake’s your pizza needs some work for-sure, but some how you stay busy with a tasteless pizza and it’s toppings are thinner then the tissue paper I wrap my Christmas gifts with.

The pizza was good but the salad was not worth the price at all. I don't recommend the dinner salad or the ranch dressing unless you like just lettuce, cheese and salty dressing.

I'm amazed at how thin the crust is, yet crispy and light. Not from Mankato area, but fiance grew up here. Came down to his mom's (from the cities) for a quick visit, and errands... they decided on Jake's for lunch. VERY good pizza!! Quiet, Thursday afternoon... relaxed atmosphere. Will be

I've been going to Jake's for more than four decades and they remain one of the best restaurants in the area. I'm old enough to still miss the Sunday buffet and the original location, but times change and they're still as good as ever.

My wife and I went to college at MSU, and Jake’s was always our favorite restaurant in town. We since moved to Omaha, NE and have driven 4.5 hours back to Mankato just for the pizza. We couldn’t recommend it more!
