Umami Cocina Fusion - Manizales

Good food... with a spin! The stuff and the cook were super nice and helpful. I really liked the well prepared and unusual food.. The atmosphere made us stay and enjoy!

We randomly stumbled over the place as we actually looked for another restaurant and couldn't find it. Everything was excellent: the food was excellent, absolutely fresh and tasty, the service really nice, and prices more than reasonable. An oasis in the midst of all the more average locations of Chipre and Manizales, not only for Veggies. You also have a small library and some games, so we played cards while we wait for our food. Nice place, excellent food, nice people.

Given that I am a devoted carnivore, I must recognize that I visited this restaurant with many reservations and above all for the insistence of my friend. It is located on the main avenue of the Cypriot neighborhood in a quite particular place (stone building).The decoration is pleasant and have table games to hang out (the subject is nice). I ordered a staple (combined with strawberry mushrooms, French potatoes and mustard honey sauce) which got me a lot (I completely forgot it wasn't animal protein.) I must indicate that the portion is very generous (I couldn't eat all the potatoes) and the prices are very economical for the amount of food served. It is necessary to highlight the mushrooms to the chin; they are simply delicious, perhaps they are the best I have eaten in my life. On the other hand, something that was not entirely of my liking was the juice of mango that I asked as accompaniment, very thick and sweet for my drop (I ordered it without sugar and still felt very sweet)Finally, I must say that I was very surprised by the great quality of dishes, portions and prices. Very good restaurant.
