1919 Grand Cafe - Manila

Dropped by this quaint restaurant and café. At first the receptionists seemed cold but as we sat down. The servers were excellent. I was also surprised at the quality of the food. It was really good!

Really good place, nice design and vintage area. Food was really good. Suitable for family dinner and business meeting lunch. We have very nice lunch there.

I love what they have done to the place absolutely stunning! Food was also reasonable a bit on the pricier side but definitely the volume and quality/taste made it well worth it. The Taro Roll was to die for! It was a very generous slice with a thick piece of taro inside topped with a small slice of sweet mango. I paired it with a muscovado latte which I had too high of an expectation for after seeing the photo in the menu. It was good but I thought the muscovado on top was brulee, it wasn’t still a very good cup of semi sweet coffee with a Filipino twist. The menu had a few Japanese stuff in an otherwise normal western cafe menu with Filipino ingredients. Great place to have a meal or even just for coffee and desserts. The place is also very big, so plenty of seating available. I would definitely recommend foreign tourists also visit this place for a upscale twist to some Filipino ingredients and dining experience. Two complaints I had were that contrary to the interior design, the menu booklets look dilapidated. Food abd drinks were brought out promptly but it took forever to get the bill. Other than that, definitely 5 stars!

Nice nice place. Breakfast at around 430 comes with unli coffee or tea 7am to 11am! Service is so so. Food is good. Definitely a presentable place to bring guest! Since they positioned the breakfast set as if it is discounted then senior citizen discount does not apply... tricky! Masarap daw club sandwich but we did not try this time. Next.

Great atmosphere here. Cozy semi fine dining. There's queue though when we visited (it was Saturday rainy) but they had us seated inside the cafe comfortably so we didn't mind waiting at all. Okay ang coffee marami ang serving Must try the taro cake roll good for 2 na and not so sweet.
