Houlihan's Restaurant Bar - Manhattan

Food is always good, service sometimes a little slow, but generally good.

We had supper there Saturday night. Drinks had virtually no alcohol in them for $10 each. Wow! Famous mushrooms appear to have shrunk in size!! Still delicious, but not worth the money. Queso was blah…had no taste! Main courses were good. Can't believe you can only get the Chicken fried Chicken on Mondays. Not a great experience.

Meatloaf was good. I wish they would serve it differently. Meatloaf was on top of mashed taters green beans with fried onion strings on top. If I want it mixed together I will do it. Flavor was good.

This place has a lot of potential but just misses the mark. Unwelcoming right off the bat. So many employees watched us waiting at the entrance and it took a few minutes for someone to show us to the table. The tables and bar were dirty and staff was just sitting around. I may come back one day but I’m. It in a hurry.

Good food for a fair price. Perfect better-than-average place that doesn't break the bank. Great place for an inexpensive hot date
