Petros Manhattan Beach

The Greek food at this restaurant is delicious and freshly prepared. We started with spanokopita, Grilled octopus, and tzatziki dip, all of which were tasty. The octopus was slightly overcooked in my opinion, but everything else was great. The feta crusted rack of lamb was cooked to perfection and was tender and high quality. Our friends enjoyed the shrimp salad and lamb/beef burger, both of which were delicious. The wine selection was excellent and the baklava was a perfect ending to our meal. We will definitely return next time we are in the area. The service was attentive and the patio was a nice escape from the busy Saturday night inside. Heaters were provided to keep us warm and all of the staff were fantastic.

Petros is a fantastic representation of high-quality Greek cuisine and top-notch service in the South Bay area. I highly recommend it!

Dining room was incredibly dark and it was 5pm. It was grey outside and the unnecesarily dim lighting made it feel dreary and somber in the restaurant. Many guests had phones out to illuminate menus and servers said they weren't allowed to turn the lights up. We've been coming here for years and love the food, but last night it was under-seasoned and cold. Just a miss in general which is a shame because we've loved Petros for so long.
