Pub kamrup college, located in baihata chariali, kamrup assam is an institute for general high school education. This college was founded in 1972, as a result of decades of popular desire and tireless efforts for such an institution. the college authority as well as the locality on the large side is grateful to the affected doyens for their good management and leadership in the introduction of the college. started with art stream, there are a total of 59 regular teachers in all three faculties art, science and vocational training courses, and in a few professional courses currently in college. baihata chariali, although semi-urban in nature, is a busy center of the commercial, academic activities and communication. it is the connection point of two national highways- 31 and 52. the madan kamdew devalaya (remaining of the shrine from the 10-th century, now a recognized tourist place) is in a distance of 3 km from the college.

Its such a great educational instituion , many courses are available here. The place it is located its too good awesome. Many studebts comes from difeerent far places to study here and to complete their graduation and many more.. . The compound is too big its constitute with buildings and many rooms seperately for higher secondary first and second year, degree, laboratory, library, club house, parking site, and many more. Its also have a botanical garden there with varieties of tress, plants, flowers which I think that very easy to capture by the stydents who are interested in the subject. And now there is hostel facility available for the students who wants to live there I dont know about the foods tgat served there but I assume its totally may be hygenic. The college is situated behind the Goreswar road less far from Baihata Chariali main chowk. If you are a student and want to study then you should try an apply here , the teacher staff is too good. Every year they held many ocassions like freshers, departmental functions, sarawati puja, teachers day, muharam,etc.. . And the most important thing is the ragging is totally completely banned here. If any student facing ragging by the senior then he/she must directly complain the principal sir to take immediate action on them and to get punished and they will never ever dare to do that again. And election is also held there to select your GS , AGS, SECRETARIES(sports, debate, cultural, and many more... Do must visit Thank you!
