Bidrage med feedbackStay away from this place. It is a very expensive trap with no service, slow (we were the only table), waiting for a grilled octopus for more than one hour, and when it came, it was poorly cooked and not eatable. All this for 80 euros..... Never again!!!
Being able to deep fry handfuls of mixed sea creatures does not make a restaurant. Clean tables, good service, getting orders correct and acting professional would also be nice. This is as rustic and careless as I have ever been. It's always surprising in this century to meet such lousy sullen service, average cooking, general lack of hygiene and overall couldn't give a rat's bottom attitude. Avoid like the plague.
You can pick the fresh seafood from the pescheria next to the restaurant, which is good as you can see and smell how fresh the fish actually is! The place is very rustic but I think this is what makes it so characteristic and somehow off the beaten path. Portions are large, fish is fresh and tasty, the service is a bit slow but this is in a very Southern Italy style so, if you know that, you'll appreciate it...

The place is very modest even crummy but we thought it's the food that's important and we're right next to the sea. We sat down and noticed the dirty cutlery but decided to overlook it and not nitpick. We ordered antipasto di mare with fish soup to follow. The cold fish antipasto was alright but nothing special it came with a huge bowl of mussels in a very salty pepata sauce...too salty to eat much of. Then two massive plates (a ridiculous amount for four people) of fish and sea food in fish broth were placed on the table. One plate contained mainly fish heads and bread that had soaked up all the broth. with a bottle of beer each, the bill came to 125 euro for four people. Never again!!! Il locale è modesto (per essere gentile) e le posate erano sporche. Abbiamo ordinato antipasto di pesce che non era particolarmente buono e poi zuppa di pesce. Ci hanno portato una quantità veramente esagerata di zuppa stracotta su due piattoni di cui un piatto era principalmente pane e teste di pesce. Con una birra a testa abbiamo pagato €125 in quattro persone. Mai più in questo posto.
