Bidrage med feedbackThis comment is about the hotel and not on the restaurant. The hotel changed owners a few years ago (2018 . Used from the hotel of previous owners' time (I came 12 times from 2004 to 2015 I was curious and looking forward to seeing the hotel renovated. Many positive points: indeed, the hotel has been renovated with taste and care. It is now a modern hotel and with rooms to the taste of the day. He found the two stars that the previous owners had lost around 2012 the new owners are friendly but discreet (can be too discreet? the rooms are clean and comfortable, and those that are on the street have a sea view that is worth the detour the location of the hotel in La Napoule facing the castle and the beach is ideal, with this view on the bay of Cannes that is worth the detour. I will nevertheless put 4/5 and not 5/5, and here is the main reason: certainly the hotel has been renovated, but the prices have really increased, while the rooms have not changed size (small, always without elevator and without accessibility to people with restricted mobility. In the one we had, there is no office to land and write, for example. I think there's a gap between room prices and size. Some other points that could be improved: in the breakfast room, the tables are erected face to face, which makes that, when you are two, one of the two people turns back to the view. What a shame! The former owners put the squares at 90° one of the other, so the two have seen on the sea the hotel's restaurant was closed in April when we came, even at noon... at night/night, no access to the living room at the bottom around the fireplace and no night watcher. We enter the side of the hotel and we are directly on the stairs to the floors. It's very impersonal... In conclusion, I think if I have the opportunity to return to La Napoule I will return to La Calanque without hesitation, but for a short stay. I hope the owners will continue to improve the hotel and make it even more welcoming.
Location top . The rooms are small but functional. Big flat on the service and breakfast that is for me dear for what is in it. No table service buffet too many supplements if you want a correct breakfast. Regarding the breakfast service you ask what is included in and at the end of the stay you are charged hot chocolate because it is not included in the breakfast formula. No commercial gesture despite explaining to her that the waitress confirmed that it was included in the formula. 4€ more on an invoice of 1100€ 3 rooms reserved for 3 nights I think the chocolate could have been offered especially when it is a communication defect.
My husband and I stumbled across this gorgeous little hotel, which has been beautifully renovated, while still keeping it's unique charm. The family were so helpful, and in English for us. They made great recommendations for our trip. We thoroughly recommend staying here.
Friendly and helpful personnel. Location top! Room nice, only doubter bed. So was very tight sleeping with the two of us.
Very nice discovery that this hotel La Calanque. Ideally located, in front of the castle, a family beach very easy to access, a hundred meters from the port, close to the station and the nice restaurants that you want to find during the evenings. The rooms have been rebuilt recently with a lot of taste, all different. The architecture of the building is unique, it has been exploited at best and the terrace is very pleasant, protected from heat by the plane trees. We enjoyed cheese omelettes that can be ordered for breakfast. But what made our stay so happy, cherry on the cake, is the reception of the owners (a young couple of South Africans who always smile) and their employees. A real parenthesis and a successful holiday largely thanks to them all. We wish them a lot of success for the future and, on our side, what should be only a first and last visit to Mandelieu will, we hope, followed by many others in their establishment.
