The Rice Bowl - Manchester

I've been here for 20 years. first brought by my father, and now living in some, it is still my favorite.

I thought I checked this place before. going down through the stairs leads to a slightly illuminated area.with fake candles illuminate large round tables.

We drove with the four of us into the rice bowl on Wednesday night and visited some on a short trip. great decor, friendly service and excellent.

They have a set menu for £13.95. So far so good, but unless you want a spring roll and chicken everything is extra. What's all that about? There are more things on the set menu that have a surcharge than those that don't.. Why not have a set menu at £15.95 with a discount on some dishes? It's no more absurd than having a fixed price menu where everything is extra.
