The Beach Dog Cafe - Manchester

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but the highlight of our visit was definitely the opportunity to play with the many dogs next door in the dog playroom. There is a small fee to enter with assistance from staff members. You can relax in a quiet area on comfortable sofas and interact with the sweet, timid, or elderly dogs. It is a very calming experience as the dogs come to you at their own pace. They are usually eager for attention and love to play. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service. My granddaughter gave it a rating of a million out of ten. Overall, it was an amazing dog experience where the dogs were the true stars.

So sad to see the doggy beach Cafe has closed. Went for breakfast this morning but closed up and To Let sign up. Where can I get my doggy fix now?

Spent a lot of effort and petrol getting to this place only to find it closed with a sign on the gate saying ‘industrial unit to let’. Called the number and there was a message saying it was still undergoing refurbishment, but acording to their web site they should have reopend in october. Their website implies they are open. I was bitterly disappointed to have wasted so much time

Travelled across Manchester on recommendation from our daughter. Saturday the 22nd of September, only to find it closed despite the website saying 9 5 on Saturdays. Gates appeared locked and no notice or information. Very disappointed as it is a long way to travel (we live in Pembrokeshire) Hence not able to properly review.

My partner and I went for brunch with our 2 boys, the terrier and the in-laws. Food was good quality and prices were reasonable. The resident dogs were wandering around the tables getting the odd treat and attention. You are given dog friendly popcorn to feed them so they aren't given unhealthy food all day. If your family is thinking about owning a dog then this is a great place to bring kids who have never interacted with dogs before. Great for dog-spotting too (12/10 would bring dog to eat here again).
