Jerk Junction - Manchester

The staff here are wonderful, too—I believe that when you treat others well, you’ll receive the same in return. They are not robots; they're human. Now, back to my need for comfort food—tonight, I don't want to cook, so I plan to go to my favorite Jamaican restaurant to grab a meal or two. I know exactly what will satisfy my cravings while allowing me to focus on my work. I'm hoping for some soup and maybe a nice solid cassava dumpling on the side. I might even call the owner beforehand, as I know he’ll remember that I'm coming, and I want to make sure they don’t run out of soup! I’m not asking for anything special; I'm just a customer looking to enjoy some delicious flavors. I recall writing something similar before, perhaps on a dollar bill in another country—I wish I could be there now. Speaking of Jerk Junction, I recently noticed someone complaining about my previous review. I’d just like to say that we all have off days, and we shouldn't judge each other too harshly. Are they really as perfect as they claim? We should strive for fairness. In Jamaica, we say, "Easy nuh, tek time think before you speak!" Why? Because, my dear, we're all human, and none of us are perfect. What do you think? Just a thought from a mystery author and entrepreneur I saw on YouTube.

I actually found this place to have a bit more spice compared to other restaurants in Whalley Range, but it doesn't seem to be as crowded. There's a nice ambiance created by the "local characters" who frequent it.

This place has a stunning atmosphere, and I absolutely love the layout. Having charging outlets at the tables is really convenient for keeping your phone charged while you eat. The food was delightful, and I even saved some for later. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite. Our meals arrived promptly and were fresh. You truly get your money's worth here. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area. 10/10!

Have seen this place for ever! the last time I wanted to come, they were closed for a few weeks. so glad that I finally try it, well earned for the award! I also have my buddy here and she had no Caribbean food yet, so was surprised how big the portions are! beautiful mood, beautiful staff, was a great value for eating. they had no white rice while we are there, but the other rice is just as good.

As always Jerk junction serves up great authentic Caribbean food. Jerk chicken is cooked on a barrel drum bbq like it would do traditionally with a great flavoured rice n peas. You can’t go wrong.
