Dog Bowl - Manchester

Great how you can eat, drink or bowl; or a combination of all three. They layout is perfect if you just want to take part in one of these activities without feeling obliged to do the others. Really good job, more places could take a leaf out of their book in terms of customer service and relaxed atmosphere.

My staff and I booked a table for lunch and bowling as we worked the Bank Holiday treated ourselves to a lunch out and a few games of ten pin bowling. For a little day time informal gathering you can't go far wrong with Dog Bowl great food, great value and great fun.

Our first time at Dog Bowl! We had a late lunch, early dinner before bowling. The food was filling and tasty and just ok, not fancy dining if this is what you're looking for. My 10 year old son was very happy eating here also, and very much enjoyed the bowling. Great alternative choice from the crowded kids bowling alleys much nicer for the parents to go here and enjoy family time. Would imagine you need to go with kids early afternoon and not into the evening as the crowd may become a little more rowdy as the drinks flow! Overall, good fun, we will go back.

The food at this restaurant is excellent for the prices. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had no complaints. The only downside was that the music was quite loud, but reducing the volume would not detract from the overall experience.

We booked Dog Bowl on the strength of reviews and unfortunately the experience did not match our expectations. Firstly the positives, the atmosphere was lively and the food was pkentiful and tasty. The service however left a lot to be desired. The menu is brief and lacks detail, this would not be a problem if the front of house staff demonstrated any kbowledge about tge dishes in offer. Whilst the foid arrived in a reasonable amount of time the staff took ages to clear the table, never asked if we required anything more and it was impossible to get the bill for more than 30 minutes. At ine point wa caught the attention of staff only to be ignored. I will not be returning
