Bidrage med feedbackOutstanding dining experience at the Social House during our recent trip to Manchester. The food was amazing and the service outstanding. We had a few appetizers, main course and desert, all were well prepared, flavorful and truly delicious. We found the prices very reasonable and we will be back for sure.
One of the best culinary experiences ever ... PERIOD!!! On every standard, from any location in the world, through all expectations. Chef Jose Valines simply shows phenomenal. The passion, the aromas, the techniques... You would think you landed in a Michelin star restaurant in New York City, or Miami, or Tokyo, you call it, not in the small city of Manchester, Vermont. The service, the food, the ambience are unforgettable. Thank you house for this lovely dinner.
Delicious food, love the grilled vegetables that accompany the fish. Octopus was perfectly cooked with the right amount of sauce. Everything leaves you refreshed after the meal and not hard.
The cooks on a show for my 7 years old, cooking in the simple view we could see from our table, while our server Kim all our needs and then some, it was almost like they read my thoughts. This restaurant was not only family friendly, but the food was from this world. The presentation was beautiful and perfect. The course has come at perfect times and we could not have been happier. Cheesecake was incredible, and the raspberry drink John made was so refreshing. Thanks for the delicious meal and we will be back very soon.
Outstanding food, truly delicious and the service was fantastic energetic, friendly, gracious. But something was missing in terms of ambiance. The dining area felt disassociated from the other aspects of the restaurant. The open kitchen concept was cool, but the customer seating area felt almost fast foodish. We were seated in the upper area by the windows. And the price for drinks is prohibitive. I get that restaurants struggle to break even on most nights, and that the cocktails help to make ends meet. But for our party, the $22+ price for a drink shut us down instantly. So nobody had a drink. That's a loss/loss. I sincerely wish you luck moving forward. There is obviously a great deal of talent under that roof. But I like a cocktail with dinner, so my experience ended up mildly disappointing.
