Bidrage med feedbackKung Fu Tea, a chain I think, is excellent. Get the app and order ahead for pickup- they are busy. Fun choices, read up ahead of time no descriptions in the shop really.
Kung Fu Tea has delicious tea but this location has run into some issues with it?s overall customer service and demeanor of staff. Many of the reviews here echo the same sentiment that the staff is disorganized at best and outright rude at worst. My reason for posting is due to my encounter yesterday. I ordered 2 milk teas on the app (as I have done numerous times before) and arrived at the storefront after the specified time of completion. Upon walking in, I was told by a staff member that my drinks would be ready shortly. I sat down and waited for about 10 more minutes, while noticing that there were two milk teas sitting in the fridge beneath the pickup counter. During this time, the staff member making drinks would not acknowledge my presence despite me walking up to the counter and attempting to get her attention. I then approached the cashier and asked if the two teas in the fridge were mine, and was given them after I pointed out the small blunder. When I had the teas in hand, I asked the staff why I was instructed to wait for 10 extra minutes when the tea had been ready the entire time. The two staff members immediately became defensive and quoted their policy of online ordering, stating that completed drinks are to be put in the fridge when ordered online. I reminded them that the problem at hand was due to me waiting for an unnecessary amount of time, only to be told to ?have a nice day? as if I were the one causing an issue. I believe the staff here need to be more organized and communicative. This wasn?t the only time I?ve seen them make this mistake. As other reviews have stated, the staff here can be a hit or miss depending on when you go. Great tea, though!
When we arrived, two of the girls on staff were sitting outside the front of the building, presumably on their break. We must have severely inconvenienced them by interrupting because the customer service we experienced was awful. The girl taking orders was very disconnected and seemed to not know what she was doing. All three of the girls inside were very impatient. When our drinks were made, the girl set them down, said here you go and quickly tried to disappear. I had to stop her to ask which drinks were which. They didn?t put the boba in one of the drinks, unfortunately we didn?t realize until we were in the car and didn?t dare go back in to face the wrath again. I think it?s cool that there?s a boba place in town but these girls need some serious training or to find another job where they don?t have to deal with people face to face. From reading other reviews, I am not the first to have such a terrible experience with this staff. Soured the entire experience and will not be going back to spend money and get undeserved disrespect in return.
This place is a hot mess. We have attempted to go there on two consecutive days, and both days they were closed. This information was not communicated on Google maps. -Yesterday, they closed early for some unknown reason. -Today, they closed until further notice because the AC is broken. Before these times, they've also lacked boba every other time. So please don't waste your money or time here and spend it at another bubble tea place that will actually provide the bare minimum. *Side note: I've never publicly reviewed a place poorly before. This bubble tea place just happens to be the worst.
I have been to Kung Fu Teas all up and down the east coast. I love bubble tea and this is the best one in the immediate area. However, this particular location is lacking compared to other locations. First, they often run out of boba or other things near the end of the day. I have often ordered online and arrived to find out that they don't have something I ordered. Second, the tables are still not out yet so there is no place to sit. You can only order and leave. Third, I don't get why they charge for water. For water? Not water bottles, but $1 for tap water! My large milk tea with boba is about $7.10, which is on the pricey side. For that price, I should be able to ask for tap water for free. I can't think of another drink place that would charge me for water. Starbucks, Panera, Aroma Joe's, Dunkin, smaller coffee shops... all places with free water. Kung Fu Tea, on the other hand, if you want water, you will have to pay for it. The folks are nice and Kung Fu Tea is great, but I hope the management will make some of these simple changes to improve.
